As defined by the Social Sciences Research Society in Turkey, the social sciences provide insight into how we organize and govern society, and how social structures and institutions evolve and change. They also provide us the opportunity of better understanding rules and institutions, human and social behavior and of identifying the factors that contribute to the social, economic, political and cultural changes.
